Sustainable Food and Farming-related Events

...plus whatever else we think looks fun

Sunday October 25, 2009, 5-8pm at the Davis Restaurant

SQUASH COOK-OFF & SILENT AUCTION

Join the Willamette Farm and Food Coalition for a squash cookoff and silent auction to benefit the Willamette Farm and Food Coalition and the David Minor Memorial Fund (exploring ways to increase access to affordable locally grown foods for families in need). Delectable squash dishes, local brews and wines, & live music.  The silent auction items are all food and garden related - there will be something for everyone! And to add to the fun, we will have an on-site food mosaic project! Bring your squash, pumpkins, apples, nuts, whatever's left in your garden and we will create living art together and donate the contents to Food for Lane County at the end of the evening. Tickets: Sliding Scale $25-$50 includes hearty hors d'oeuvres and a glass of wine or beer), available after October 5th at WFFC.
